3 Day Fire Starter Classic

2 nights and 3 days is a great first-time trip or weekend getaway option. Depart from base camp with a picturesque day of travel to your campsite. Spend time leisurely exploring the beauty of Algonquin with its meandering rivers and lakes dotted with islands. Remember Algonquin is known as being a wildlife sanctuary, so keep your eyes peeled and camera ready for moose or beaver spotting. In the evening listen to the chilling call of the loon and gaze up at the vast night sky painted with stars. On the third day, retrace your steps towards your starting point. You’ll be surprised at how you see things differently.

5 Day True North

4 nights and 5 days is our most popular trip length. Why? It offers the perfect balance between restoration and rejuvenation, and challenge, growth, and outdoor skills immersion. Head east towards the True North Loop (North Tea, Biggar, 3 Mile, and Manitou) stopping to relax at a hidden waterfall and paddling past our resident bull moose’s habitat. Ideal for people who want to trade in their workweek for an authentic Canadian way of living. Truth, North, Strong, and Free.

7 Day Wolf Pack

6 nights and 7 days is the ideal trip for those desiring a deeper understanding and connection to nature. Each day starts with coffee and a fire-cooked breakfast. Over these days you will watch your camping skills develop and become your new "normal". We will have the opportunity to travel deep into the park and enjoy lakes to ourselves. Waterfalls and wildlife will be some of your highlights but the stillness and simplicity are what will have you reflecting on this trip for years to come. You will be amazed by the efficiency of your camping skills at this point. Tents and tarps will be packed away in record time as everyone in the group really starts to find their groove. On the water, you will be amazed how your paddling skills have you laughing at the day 1 version of yourself.

Student/School Groups

Our student programs are available to private and public schools, summer camps and youth programs. An immense amount of personal growth and group cohesion is established through overcoming the daily challenges that tripping brings. Without access to Google for the answers, students are forced to think outside the box, meet challenges head-on, work together and make group decisions. Learning together in nature is where leaders are born. The sense of accomplishment from having navigated a route, starting a fire, cooking a meal, or finishing a 1km portage manifests in increased confidence and self-esteem. Students carry this forward and transfer their accomplishments into their daily lives, positively impacting their relationships at school and at home.
